Let the Great Experiment Begin

So I have this “dress” that’s really WAY too short to actually be worn as a dress. So I’m experimenting with tucking it into my pants and wearing it as a shirt. I think the experiment is pretty successful.

dress worn as shirt: ASOS / pants: the Gap / shoes: Spring / cardigan: Target

I wouldn't have realized it's a dress. How is it in the back? That's often where I run into annoying bunching problems when I try to tuck in longer tops.

I wouldn't have guessed it was a dress at all. Looks great!

I do that with "too short" dresses too though usually under skirts. Yours works great as a top!

it makes for a great blouse - well done. it is too cute a print not to wear!

I think it's successful too. I like the pattern on your dress turned shirt.

The too short dress looks perfect with the shorts and that cardigan. Such a great combination and a great way to get more wear out of a too short dress

Such a great idea. I have a few dresses hanging in my closet now I find a bit too short to wear as dresses any longer. Thanks for the idea!
